The main way Walking Footballers are injured is by impact from standard match balls that weigh between 410g-450g - (and that's before those footballs take on water).
At 350g, the slightly reduced weight of the 3135 reduces the chances of experiencing an impact injury (this is particularly true for goalkeepers), without compromising on performance.

The 3135 has been thoroughly tested in the UK, with our good friends at Santos Nottingham FC, and across Europe’s walking football community with Malaga, Real Betis and East Algrave, for detailed playing feedback.
Reduced water absorption = less change to the 3135's weight, even in the wettest conditions.
To ensure the 3135 stays as close to its orignial weight as possible, it has been machine stitched and bonded to ensure that water absorption remains at a minimum.
A foam underlay offers additional feel and protection and the brighter colourway makes it easier to pick out.
A high-quality latex bladder and textured TPU surface ensure the 3135 retains the same flight and bounce as a standard match ball, avoiding any ‘fly away’ characteristics.
